Hasznos

Our apartment house is located in Hasznos, which belongs to the town of Pásztó, and there are great hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. The Hasznos Castle, also known as Cserteri Castle, is located not far from the apartment house and can be accessed on foot, by bicycle, or by car. It sits above a reservoir on a steep hill and offers a wonderful view of the characteristic peaks of the Mátra. Another popular nearby hiking destination is the Hasznos Reservoir. The Hasznos Reservoir is also a great fishing spot, fed by the Kövecses Stream. It was created during the construction process between 1973 and 1986. The deepest point is more than 20 meters, with an average depth of 15 meters. The lake is home to carp, grass carp, pike, zander, catfish, roach, crucian carp, asp, trout, and dace.
